On Friday 13th December 2019, I uttered something to my husband that would change our lives forever.
“I’ve had enough of Britain, let’s go to Mongolia!”
It seemed unlikely that our caravan, ‘Kismet’ would make it across the Gobi Desert. A month later, we bought a 24.5-tonne truck blind off the internet to convert into an off-grid home-on-wheels fit to drive there.
We named her The Beast.
