I would like to draw your attention to our Privacy Policy, which we published to remain compliant with the new EU-wide General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which come into force on 25th May 2018.

Fundamentally, we keep your data secure, do not give your data to anyone else and use it only to notify you when a new blog is published and to track activity on the blog site.
I have to tell you that the Privacy Policy may be subject to change without notice at any time. Updates will be published on the website, so please check back frequently.
Who is World Wide Walkies?
I am a hobby blogger who writes about adventure & adrenaline, travel, dogs, caravanning, skiing, windsurfing – and giving it all up to Live the Dream!
I do not make money from this site. In fact I PAY money to keep it live! I spend hours, sometimes weeks and months writing posts because, like Elizabeth Reyes*, ‘I write because I MUST!’
I am just overjoyed that others seem to enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy writing them.
You Don’t Need to Do Anything If You Want to Stay With Us
World Wide Walkies was designed in accordance with GDPR requirements. When you ‘follow’ my blog, you must specifically ‘opt in’ for the email alert service, the purpose of which is to advise you when a new blog post is published.
To remain subscribed, you don’t need to do anything because we didn’t use any nefarious means to capture your information – you are AWESOME and opted in of your own free will.

If you no longer wish to hear from us, every email that you receive, including this one, contains an option for you to unsubscribe.
We would much rather that you stayed, but your continued subscription and goodwill remains always completely within your control!
