Today is my first book birthday!
A year ago today, I published Fur Babies in France – From Wage Slaves to Living the Dream. It was featured in the Lancashire Telegraph, to read the article, click here.
A year on, I have published three books, with number four in the pipeline.
All of them have received 5* reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, they have made it Across the Pond to the USA and have featured on an Australian blog, Gum Trees and Galaxies!
Book 2, Dog on the Rhine – From Rat Race to Road Trip has been an Amazon Bestseller.
On my 20th Wedding Anniversary, I received an invite to Bucharest because Book 3, Dogs ‘n’ Dracula, was a finalist in the Romania Insider Awards. Both Prince Charles and The British Ambassador to Romania now have a copy!

I have met some wonderful people and made some lovely new friends. Both Fur Babies and Dogs ‘n’ Dracula have been bought by a kitty!
And I had actually broken even, until I commissioned the cover designs for Books 4-6…
It has been quite a year!
Not only that, by pure serendipity, this is my 200th blog post on World Wide Walkies.
THANK YOU FOR READING!

Thank you so much, Gina.
I am particularly proud of Dogs n Dracula. We were told so many horror stories about Romania and found that none of them were true. It is such a beautiful, friendly country that I set out on a one woman mission to change perceptions. I am really encouraged that so many of the reviews have said that Romania is now on the ‘visit’ list!
