We are delighted to say we are ON SHOW this spring!

• On the 24th-26th May 2025, we will be in the Adventure Vehicle section of the Bushcraft Show at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth
• On the 14th-15th June 2025, you will find us at the revamped National 4×4 & Camper Festival, which is the rebirth of the Adventure Overland Show at Stratford Upon Avon Racecourse. There is a full program of seminars, two of which will be delivered by me – details to follow!

If you are thinking about buying or converting a van…

I really recommend visiting shows or attending meet-ups. This is without doubt the best way to get ideas, see what options are available, meet suppliers, manufacturers, and chat with experts and other like-minded people. If you already own a van, it’s just a fun thing to do!

The National 4×4 & Camper Festival

When – 14th – 15th June 2025

Where – Stratford on Avon Racecourse, CV37 9SE, which on the outskirts of Stratford, a lovely twenty-minute stroll along the river from the historic town itself.

What’s On – For two full days, you can enjoy four specialised zones of display vehicles, featuring 4x4s, Off-Road Motorsport, Overland Travel, and Adventure Bikes. There will be a plethora of traders, and a full programme of free-to-attend seminars (presented by both professional and amateur speakers, including myself!), spanning a host of subjects covering 4x4s, 2WD campervans, adventure bikes and expedition trucks.

My latest book, Building The Beast, which documents the trials and tribulations of our DIY build, has just WON bronze in the Adult Non Fiction section of the 2024 Wishing Shelf Book Awards. I even got a real medal!

• Quirky Campers brings together owners of bespoke campers and those who want to rent a unique campervan.
