Mark and I have finally finished converting The Beast into our new home.
To see how we did it, check out Building The Beast, an animated slideshow on YouTube.
The Beast was on show alongside many others, at the late summer edition of the Adventure Overland & International Campervan Show at Stratford, UK.
If you missed it, or would just like to have a nose at the interior of a few of the highly individual vehicles on show, here is a short film from overland vlogger EBE257. If you want to see us, we’re about 27 minutes and 15 seconds in. Grab yourself a coffee and ENJOY!
For more details about the twice-yearly show, see my blog or visit the Adventure Overland & International Campervan Show website.
Why not follow my blog? That way, you will automatically be notified when I publish a new post about our adventures in The Beast – and how much she cost to convert!

Wow it’s looking great!

Converting a military vehicle into a go-anywhere camper is such a fantastic idea! With a beast like this, you can easily access any destination you have in mind. I am wishing you plenty of exciting experiences and adventures. Safe travels. Aiva 🙂 xx

Thank you, Aiva.
We love our Beast. She’s not quite a go anywhere truck, as we found the other day when we encountered a tunnel with a .3.6 m height limit. She is 3.85 m!
Although we were told it would be fine up to 3.9 m, we didn’t want to risk it!
Other than that, we’ve had few problems.
