May Your Dreams Come True in ’22…

Well, 2021 didn’t quite work out quite as planned…

Lockdowns, a longer-than-expected conversion of our expedition truck, The Beast, then family illness have all scuppered our plans to travel this year.

At the moment, I am in Lancashire looking after my Dad who, at 86, needs a little help. I have really enjoyed spending this extended period with him, although finding time to write is difficult.

I have put on hold my blog updates about our travels during the summer with The Beast, but I hope to be back online with those soon. There are some great stories to tell!

I had planned to publish my next book, It Never Rains but it Paws, by Christmas, but have now delayed publication until the spring. It is a prequel to To Hel in a Hound Cart, which follows our travels through Poland in a pandemic, which I hope to publish in summer.

I am proud to have had my writing included in three anthologies this year, with a box set published on Boxing Day, which includes a bonus chapter by Yours Truly alongside work by award-winning travel writers and a New York Times bestselling author.
