There are many things I love about the indie author community, not least the many wonderful friends I’ve made around the world, and the fascinating newsletters produced by such a bunch of truly talented writers.
As is always the case with a community, everyone helps each other. I am thrilled that besides a feature on exploring the Blue City, Chefchaouen in a day, Philippina author Mitos Ming Suson interviewed me for her newsletter, Ming’s World.

If you want to read all about Chefchaouen, try some Word Play, and find some limited-time Book Deals and Freebies (including Mitos’ memoir Quarantine Wisdom And Other Absurdities), you can read Mitos’ newsletter here.
Interview With Author Jackie Lambert
Find my interview in the newsletter, along with Mitos’ review of my first book, Fur Babies in France: From Wage Slaves To Living The Dream, which she describes as ‘Full of humour, gripping and honest.‘
My interview sits on Mitos’ website alongside interviews with many of my other favourite indie authors such as New York Times bestselling author, Victoria Twead, epic adventurer Jean-Philipe Soule, and the wonderful Beth Haslam, who has written heartwarming books about her life with fat dogs and French estates, as well as her childhood with equally fat dogs and Welsh estates. On the left hand side of the page is the online form to subscribe yourself to Mitos’ newsletter.
About Mitos Ming Suson
Her debut memoir, A Doorbell, A Dictator, A Dad is a healing journey that reflects her tumultuous childhood, the impact of her father’s arrest as a political detainee, and the disintegration of her sheltered and privileged family life during the Martial Law era in the Philippines.
Her second book, Shards of Time, is a fictionalized Memoir based on true events.
Quarantine Wisdom is a short read, “A compilation conceived in the pandemic lockdown, when all I was thinking of was surviving COVID and mourning the people that I love who weren’t so fortunate.” (This book is available free for a limited-time via Book Deals and Freebies.)
